W-409 Posted September 15, 2016 Posted September 15, 2016 Nice to see one of these built! It looks like you did a nice and clean job on it. These early '60s Stock/Super Stock/FX cars are all my big time favorites. Really nice work on this one. It proves that you don't need to add lots of detail to make a model look good.Makes me motivated to get back on my Super Stockers!
PatW Posted September 17, 2016 Author Posted September 17, 2016 Thanks guys, yes lets see your offerings on this type of racer!
Brutalform Posted September 22, 2016 Posted September 22, 2016 Nice to see an old Super Stocker. I'm in this mode myself. Seeing your fantastic build makes me want to build my three 62 Bel Airs. Can some one correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this kit re tooled over the other older AMT Bel Air kits?
PatW Posted September 24, 2016 Author Posted September 24, 2016 Thanks for your comments Tom. It's unfortunate that I can't answer any questions on this one as it's the only one I've ever seen. I've not seen this kit being available here in the UK.
Brutalform Posted September 28, 2016 Posted September 28, 2016 Thanks Pat. I found out it is a new tool. The grill is more correct looking than previous kits.
MemyselfandI Posted September 28, 2016 Posted September 28, 2016 I really like the simplicity of this one, great build and thanks for sharing and the inspiration.
