Another Corvair drag car ??

As I am about to finish the Corvair flat top drag car I have been working on I needed to start another kit. This one will be the AMT Chezoom mid engine drag kit. Will be but out of the box for the most part. I have drilled out the dash gauges and replaced the front plastic tires with couple from the parts box. Not sure about color yet but not doing it as it appears on the box.

I only built 3 Corvairs so far this year but I have about 675 Cobras so name won't be changed anytime soon. : )

Made some headway on this one over the last couple days. Here is where I am now.

Please note that the otherwise OK engine in this kit has the magneto totally wrong. It's a late model 426 Hemi, the mag goes on the passenger side in the front. The kit has it in the rear like a 392.
