Welcome aboard Mike. And you've no reason to downplay yourself. From the Pic's I'd say your no slouch at painting or building.

Thanks so much Ed. I am 64 years old and started plastic with my dad at age 4. My wife and I now own an online N Scale train shop but have recently started to do some models again .

Thanks , Mike

So far so good.

Not exactly the easiest kit to build. I built one maybe 10 years ago and want to do another someday to replicate the very 1st incarnation of the truck .

Thanks a bunch ACE, I am sure having fun with the diversion.

.....and Mike, that's the whole point of it all...to have FUN and enjoy the trip. the fun sometimes gets lost in the shuffle when a project becomes tedious or very difficult. I built the LRW about 15 years ago, right out of box with little in extras and it was a quick, fun build, and at one point, may build another with more detail....it's a neat kit......best, the Ace....;)

That would be cool and I had thought the same thing but I have no way to make decals.

Mike for a "slacker" that is probably the best build of that motor I've seen. It is not an easy engine to get to look real. Your does a very good job at that.

Thanks so much Mike, It is a very bland engine.

Welcome!   Looks pretty dang nice to me.

I take it you a Train fan as well being you have a Shop and also in the back ground on the first picture...I worked at Con-Cor for 2 1/2" years.  Modeling trains and cars have a lot in common and lots of aftermartket train details work very well on the car side also
