I started with the Revell kit. I moved the rear wheels forward about 5/16 of an inch. Front tires are from the parts box. Modified the headers a bit by making them shorter and putting some plastic tubing on to give an open look. Slixx seat belt decals. Some chrome was stripped. Color is Graphite Dust. I used a round headed straight pin for the shifter.I wired the battery. I am toying with raising the rear suspension. I built it stock but seems too low to me. Also I had ordered some BMF but it still had not arrived so.... it's a custom with painted window trim. : ) As always comments pro or con are welcome.

Good looking work on this one, definitely.

If you decide to leave it in "launch" attitude, it might be interesting to do a little dragstrip dio for it, and raise the front wheels off the ground to really get the full effect.  :D

Thanks guys. Dio might be a good idea but without a driver ????

definitely. Some cotton balls for tire smoke and maybe a sheet of sandpaper for a blacktop. With it squatting like this, A diorama is a must. This looks great

Pretty sure I have a helmeted, goggled, seated driver figure out of one of the old Monogram Indy cars I could send your way. Might be tricky getting him in through the window though.  :D

Turned out great. Once you get the foil done it should really look outstanding. I have to agree on the rear ride height, it would look better if it sat level.

Honestly, unless you're really good at painting figures, which is very difficult, it might detract from the quality of your build. I wouldn't do it personally, for that reason.
