chadrob30 Posted October 8, 2016 Posted October 8, 2016 The Panther Pink wasn't an option until 1970, but it would look interesting for sure.
Snake45 Posted October 8, 2016 Posted October 8, 2016 The Panther Pink wasn't an option until 1970, but it would look interesting for sure. That's my understanding, too. I can't even find any mention that it was a mid/late year introduction, like Rally Green, Spring Green, Hemi Orange, or Code 999 Orange. But hey, if you want to paint it Panther Pink you can call it a "Day Two" car, which opens up lots of options for stance, wheels/tires, headers, colored spark plug wires, and all the other candy we used to throw at these poor old cars.
chadrob30 Posted October 9, 2016 Posted October 9, 2016 It looks like January of 1970 is when the main high impact colors rolled out, or at least Panther Pink. It's your build, do it your way and say it was a 1 of 1 executive's car.
randyc Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 Paint it pink and fix it up with special equipment like a preproduction color test.
KWT Posted October 13, 2016 Posted October 13, 2016 It's yours, dude. who cares if it was an option. Build it the way you want and see it in your head. As long as you dig it, no one else's opinion matters. Panther pink with a viper engine... Rock on!

StevenGuthmiller Posted October 13, 2016 Posted October 13, 2016 I agree with all said here. Just be prepared to deal with a bunch of "incorrect color" statements when it goes "under glass". They will come. I think we all know that. Steve

Anger over inconsequential things amuses me. Anyway, I think this will look good in pink.
