lghtngyello03 Posted November 4, 2016 Posted November 4, 2016 (edited) Finally got this one finished up yesterday evening. Paint is the correct Mitsubishi Fiji Blue from ScaleFinishes, cleared with Tamiya TS-13 clear. Wheels are Aoshima Advan GT's painted with Duplicolor Bronze Wheel Paint. Interior is flocked, rear glass tinted with Tamiya Smoke, suspension lowered slightly for a better look, and I added a Resin FMIC finished in Spazstix Chrome. Thanks for looking Edited November 4, 2016 by lghtngyello03

lghtngyello03 Posted November 4, 2016 Author Posted November 4, 2016 Never thought this car could look this good. Great vision and result, really nice build.Thank you Tommy. I try to build my models to how I'd have them if I were to have them. Tastefully and not over the top always wins in my book. This was actually the setup of my 1:1 minus the body color.
lghtngyello03 Posted November 4, 2016 Author Posted November 4, 2016 Where did you get the FMIC?I bought these a couple of years back off of Ebay. The seller is no longer a registered user unfortunately. Beautiful build !Thanks a lot Yuri.Very nice!Thank you!Very sharp model. Good job !Thanks Ray!
Rossy Posted November 4, 2016 Posted November 4, 2016 Followed your WIP as well, looks awesome! That blue goes perfect with the bronze wheels!
bbowser Posted November 4, 2016 Posted November 4, 2016 With the right backround would be indistinguishable from a 1:1. Great work.

Chuck Most Posted November 5, 2016 Posted November 5, 2016 You'd have to travel back in time to 1994 to find a 1:1 that nice! Very well done.

IJ001 Posted December 27, 2017 Posted December 27, 2017 Yeah I know it's been just over a year since this was posted, but I only just found it, so... Love the lines of this car, and the Fiji Blue really suits it. Going to try find this kit for sale here in NZ, but may take some time - Scott, I'll be using your WiP as a guide, hope you don't mind. Ian.
Cpt Tuttle Posted December 28, 2017 Posted December 28, 2017 Really clean build that sits and looks just right, I like it.
