Finally, after about a year, got my 76 Grand Prix project done. First casting has some bubbles but the shape turned out pretty good.

Finished the interior castings as well. Tub, seats, console, dash, door panels.

What chassis is recommended here?

If you want curbside, 77 Monte Carlo. Open hood would require some work-maybe start with a 70-72 Cutlass.

Hi Larry.  Sorry if this is an uninformed question.  Did you start with an existing body and modify it to this level, or is this a scratch built body?  I ask only because I scratch built a Fairmont body a few years ago so was curious how you arrived at what you're showing in your pics.  One way or the other, I commend you for the job you did.  Scott

Revell 77 Monte for wheelbase and roofline.  The rest is extensively modified.

Great job Larry! I imagine an open hood would be challenging to accomplish.

Actually not. A friend bought a kit from me and opened up the hood as well s the T tops. The bigger challenge would be the chassis so you could see the engine.
