modifier Posted December 6, 2016 Posted December 6, 2016 (edited) This model had some missing parts, but I managed to get them from my junkyard ( side mirrors, wiper, one headlight)http://www.touchdesign1.com/volvo2/IMG_1670 copy.jpghttp://www.touchdesign1.com/volvo2/IMG_1671 copy.jpg http://www.touchdesign1.com/volvo2/IMG_1673 copy.jpg http://www.touchdesign1.com/volvo2/IMG_1678 copy.jpg http://www.touchdesign1.com/volvo2/IMG_1680 copy.jpg http://www.touchdesign1.com/volvo2/IMG_1681 copy.jpg http://www.touchdesign1.com/volvo2/IMG_1704 copy.jpg http://www.touchdesign1.com/volvo2/IMG_1706 copy.jpg Edited December 6, 2016 by modifier
Foxer Posted December 6, 2016 Posted December 6, 2016 That's pretty cool. I always loved that car and very nice build. Is that really a Revell kit?
modifier Posted December 6, 2016 Author Posted December 6, 2016 Thanks, no it is a 1/18 diecast model
kilrathy10 Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 That turned out great.....Very nice work.....
peekay Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 I liked the original too - but you did a great job and now have a unique model.
MrObsessive Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 WOW!! TERRIFIC job on this! This makes me miss my '65 I had many years ago............fun car! Why oh why this car has never been done in a full glue kit escapes me, but I do have AirTrax's resin of this one.
ibj40 Posted December 15, 2016 Posted December 15, 2016 Extraordinary job, as usual.P1800 was reasonably represented in it's day on the race track.
f1ford48 Posted March 5, 2017 Posted March 5, 2017 Exceptional work again-where are you getting the disc wheels? They look the same as on the blue Mercedes sedan- do you have a source for these and some period mud and snow tires? I want to build a stock JEEP CJ 5
tedd60 Posted March 5, 2017 Posted March 5, 2017 I'm guessing this one is the Revell of Germany model. It's a beautiful car.My first car was a 1960 PV544 Volvo, I was very lucky to be able to get a Revell model of it. I see that somebody make a 122. that would be a nice one to have on the shelf.
