donb Posted December 16, 2016 Posted December 16, 2016 This is a box stock build of the Monogram kit. Exterior Color is Tamiya Deep Metallic Blue, cleared with Duplicolor and buffed out. Interior is Duplicolor Flat Black primer. Comments welcome.
espo Posted December 16, 2016 Posted December 16, 2016 Very nice paint and fit & finish on the front end. Always thought that Ford had a great looking body style with this model anyway
JerseyRed Posted December 16, 2016 Posted December 16, 2016 Nice build! Engine and compartment is neat and clean, very sharp. Is that black primer on the hood also?
donb Posted December 16, 2016 Author Posted December 16, 2016 Thanks everyone for the great comments.Kevin - The hood is flat black primer also. I use Duplicolor Flat Black Primer for all flat black areas. If I want a little sheen to it I coat with Tamiya or Testors Semi-Gloss. Hope this helps.

Poor interior is always forgotten by everyone. As someone that is just learning modeling, I do pretty well with exteriors but I'm very interested in seeing interiors and engine compartment details. I should say I know how exteriors should look not that I've gotten them there yet! Edited December 16, 2016 by JerseyRed
satterwhite78 Posted December 17, 2016 Posted December 17, 2016 I did one in dark blue (FoMoCo Presidential Blue) sometime back, great kit to build and love yours!
geetee66 Posted December 17, 2016 Posted December 17, 2016 Very sleek in that deep gloss black.the Matt hood hints at menace, too!Super-clean work. Very nice
