martinfan5 Posted December 16, 2016 Posted December 16, 2016 All finished up minus the they are not really metal transfers markings for the hood/rear end, love this shade of blue, it is even better in person, the camera does not do it justice, its is gorgeous. I replaced the side/hood mesh decals over clear parts with just real meshing, since there are no markings, I did do the car with LHD( US Spec). Far as we all know, this will be my last completed model for the year that isnt already started( meaning, I have some other projects that I want to try and finish up) Enough of the words.
JerseyRed Posted December 16, 2016 Posted December 16, 2016 It really is a beautiful color and good paint work and a nice modeling job overall. Not being able to see any part of the engine is kind of a deal killer for me though.
BVC500 Posted December 16, 2016 Posted December 16, 2016 (edited) Awesome job. That is strange about the emblems, which according to Bob Downie, are stickers not metal transfers. I agree with you that I think Gravity Colors' Novelle Blue is a tad darker than the real color. I saw another NSX on FB painted with GG's color and that was the first thing I noticed. I'm painting mine Valencia Red, partly because GG's color is off, and partly because I'm doing a tribute (but updated) version of my original NSX, which is Formula Red with ivory/black interior. I do think the shade is tad dark, but I still love the color and happy with it.
