DrKerry Posted December 23, 2016 Posted December 23, 2016 I built this many years ago but was never really happy with the colors and the way it looked. Plus I dropped something on the hood and chipped the paint so I started to re-do it. I had it in primer at one of our AMG meetings and Jimmy Flintstone saw it on the table and told me I need to get that to him. Well it did and after a couple months I got the master back along with a resin copy of the truck...It's a Chezoom lower with the upper cab, hood and bed from a 51 Chevy truck...So now the why am I posting old pics of this?? Well, I've been finishing up the repaint and rebuild of this. It is now metallic black, has chrome steel wheels with white walls and has a interior color change as well.. Seat is Colonial Red to give it the look of an older hot rod... After I get the mirror on it and get the tonneau cover glued together I'll get some new pics. For now you just have to look at the teaser pics!!!!! All the pics....http://s2.photobucket.com/user/drkerry/library/Hobgoblin?sort=2&page=1
bobthehobbyguy Posted December 23, 2016 Posted December 23, 2016 cool. Looking forward to seeing updated version.
Psychographic Posted December 23, 2016 Posted December 23, 2016 Nice looking truck Kerry. I have to ask, you did all that work and all Flintstone gave you is an extra body?
TooOld Posted December 23, 2016 Posted December 23, 2016 That's really sharp looking , it deserves a make over !
espo Posted December 23, 2016 Posted December 23, 2016 Great looking body. Combining an early '50's truck cab to a '57 Chevy body and making it look right is really something.
DrKerry Posted December 23, 2016 Author Posted December 23, 2016 Thanks guys, taking pics of it here in a bit!!!!
plastic trucker Posted December 23, 2016 Posted December 23, 2016 I like it. I was wondering what it would look like built up.

John Goschke Posted December 26, 2016 Posted December 26, 2016 Cool, indeed! But I think it's screaming for 3" chop!
DrKerry Posted December 27, 2016 Author Posted December 27, 2016 Thought of chopping it but liked the look of the stock height roofline....
