DRIPTROIT 71 Posted November 6, 2018 Posted November 6, 2018 Glad to see more progress on this one! Looks great!!
Sergey Posted November 6, 2018 Posted November 6, 2018 (edited) Hey Tommy! How had you treated with head lights? Do they have reflectors? Also I would paint lenses sides with black. And it is hard to paint deepening on white gril. May be it's better to cut deepening through using model khife back side? With care it may take couple hours, but I guess that worth it. I would do that with my '57-'60 Ford. Edited November 6, 2018 by Sergey
leafsprings Posted November 10, 2018 Author Posted November 10, 2018 (edited) Good idea with the black around headlights and reflectors, would offer more depth and detail, than just adding silver paint and clear lenses. Hood detailed with emblems and scoop! Went for the municipal theme, following the paint scheme of the City of Detroit '57 garbage truck Dept. of Public Works. Edited December 1, 2018 by leafsprings
Hermann Kersten Posted December 3, 2018 Posted December 3, 2018 A very nice project of a truck that you do not see much as a model. Hermann.
leafsprings Posted January 21, 2019 Author Posted January 21, 2019 (edited) Getting closer to completion. More cab and interior details. Edited February 2, 2019 by leafsprings
Sergey Posted January 21, 2019 Posted January 21, 2019 Oh, I know that dump bed! Nice decal. BUT: where are the holes on wheels? I would make thiner brackets on mirrors. And I would fill seams on the bed.
