Lovefordgalaxie Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 Almost got her finished in 2016 still. Almost. The Revell 1948 Ford Sedan Coupe Super Deluxe kit is just great. Builds easily and without major issues. In fact, the only one I have was with the rear window, that is just a tad bigger than the opening on the roof, and is a real pain to get in place without making a mess. Almost made my own window out of acetate. Another detail I didn't particularly loved was the no name tires. It kind of cuts the realism of the thing. Had to fix that. Used the tires from my '48 Ford Woody kit. Had to paint wide whites on them, but it was worth the effort. On my Ford I used automotive synthetic enamel, and tried to replicate the finish of Ford's Medium Luster Black. Now, seeing the model complete, I noticed I forgot to paint the gearbox... Oh well, I got more three of those kits, so the next one will be painted the right color. One bad thing happened because of this kit tough. My cousin saw it on the making, and bought the Custom Coupe. Guess who will be building the butchered Ford? Hope you guys like her. It's a classy old lady. 1948 Ford Sedan Coupe Super Deluxe. by CCCP Digital Studio, on Flickr 1948 Ford Sedan Coupe Super Deluxe. by CCCP Digital Studio, on Flickr 1948 Ford Sedan Coupe Super Deluxe. by CCCP Digital Studio, on Flickr 1948 Ford Sedan Coupe Super Deluxe. by CCCP Digital Studio, on Flickr 1948 Ford Sedan Coupe Super Deluxe. by CCCP Digital Studio, on Flickr 1948 Ford Sedan Coupe Super Deluxe. by CCCP Digital Studio, on Flickr 1948 Ford Sedan Coupe Super Deluxe. by CCCP Digital Studio, on Flickr 1948 Ford Sedan Coupe Super Deluxe. by CCCP Digital Studio, on Flickr 1948 Ford Sedan Coupe Super Deluxe. by CCCP Digital Studio, on Flickr 1948 Ford Sedan Coupe Super Deluxe. by CCCP Digital Studio, on Flickr 1948 Ford Sedan Coupe Super Deluxe. by CCCP Digital Studio, on Flickr 1948 Ford Sedan Coupe Super Deluxe. by CCCP Digital Studio, on Flickr 1948 Ford Sedan Coupe Super Deluxe. by CCCP Digital Studio, on Flickr 1948 Ford Sedan Coupe Super Deluxe. by CCCP Digital Studio, on Flickr 1948 Ford Sedan Coupe Super Deluxe. by CCCP Digital Studio, on Flickr

Lovefordgalaxie Posted January 2, 2017 Author Posted January 2, 2017 Thanks guys!!Tulio how do you do your white walls so well ?I use a circle template to airbrush them. Just find the hole that is the right size, cover all the others, tape the tire to the template and airbrush some acrylic semigloss white.
