This beast is finally done, even though I got it done within 2 months or so, except for the paintjob, it went together well and there is such a nice base for adding details. I didn't with this one, as it was a review model. But my fingers itched for improving and adding detail.
Even if you build it box-stock, it will end in a nice model. It looks pretty good and capture the car well.

The only fit issue I encountered was that the body sat too low or the engine too high. So I had to get the body about 2mm higher, in order to get the hood to shut.

And the chrome is bad, if one wants to do it properly, it has to be redone. But the new decalsheet really makes it a better model, so much detail in the new decalsheet.

The kit wheels are horrible to see, so I made my own Hallibrands and they look soooo much better on this car,

Oh, and the scale is 1/8...

I like all of the extra effort you put into the detailing. Even the flat silver inside the chrome tail light housings. The interior trim looks perfect.

Wait a minute...!

Are you sure that's not 1:1?

Seriously good model. Paint is utterly fantastic. Looks like it was well worth the bother of re-chroming the brightwork.

just, just...brilliant!!
