Working on this Honda Civic Si kit from Revell. I am going to be adding a carbon fiber hood and a few other details. Let me know what you guys think.

Love that color, looks like it laid down very smooth.

Yes the paint laid down nice. I'm letting it sit a while longer before the sand and polish.

Nice stuff

Can't go wrong with black and red....Is that the stance with susp./interior/etc....full mock-up ?

If so ,..Looks killer Chris

Not yet, but that's what I'm going for.

Nice start Chris, and a great color combo. Having built this one (And re-built it to correct this mistake!), I can offer one big piece of advice. Cut the side windows loose from the front and rear windows, then trim them up to fit flush in their openings. If you don't cut them loose, you'll end up with problems getting the chassis and body together properly, my rear bumper wouldn't go on right until I did this. Everything else on the kit is awesome, fix that one problem and you'll have no other issues!

Thank you for the tip. I did notice the whole glass piece did not want to fit in correctly. I was debating cutting them but now I definitely will. Thanks again!!

Ground Control coil overs? :D

Looks nice so far Chris, especially the body/paintwork. :)

They do look like Ground Control. I actually copied the color scheme of Skunk2 coil overs. I liked the gold accent on the strut.

Images would not load. Here we go. What do you guys think. My first time using this. It took a couple tries but I think it came out pretty good.

Looks very good - did you use kit stock decal for the CF, or is it aftermarket?

It is the scale motorsport carbon fiber. I am going to put on a coat of clear once done in the dehydrator.

Thought so - excellent stuff to work with.

Keep up the good work.  This build makes me miss my red '99 Si.  Wasn't a race car by any means, but it was just plain fun to rip through the gears on the back roads.

I have a Revell Civic kit as well (I think it's the earlier Civic to be honest) and have been contemplating what I want to do with it...

Yours looks fantastic so far! Keep it up!
