Tower Hobbies free shipping?

Does anyone know how often Tower Hobbies offers free shipping on kits? I have the Super Saver Club but I don't want to have to order 99.00 worth of models to save 9.99. Every once in a while it will say "Free Shipping" next to the kit listing. I'm just wondering if this is a random thing or do they do it in set intervals?

I haven't actually tried to figure out if there's a pattern but as far as I can tell its random. Every 1-2 weeks they'll do free shipping for orders of $49 or more and that's what I'll take advantage of if I want/need something.

Yeah, I've noticed the $49.00 free shipping as well. I like to catch the free shipping and then use the coupon code 01A15 which gives you $15.00 off any order of at least $50.00. With the free shipping, you're basically saving $24.99 if your order is at least $50.00 worth of stuff!

It seems random. A couple weeks ago they had a free shipping deal that I only saw in the shopping cart. Was surprised since I didn't see the "free shipping" logo in the kit listings like they usually do.

Could be algorithmic based on your past orders....I know when I order from them, I always seem to get the free shipping.

In the past when I have ordered from them, they offered free shipping on $25 or more. I believe the coupon code was 01A15, but could be wrong. Some searching should yield the correct code.

They offer different types of free shipping,  the "free shipping" that is seen in the listing normally doesn't have minium order, and that isnt offered very often, they just did that during the holidays.   The other free shipping offers they ( spend $25 or more/and or using the coupon code) do those more often.

If you can get yourself a working $10 off coupon code, that is just as good as free shipping, Ive used that one a few times between the periods of them offering free shipping.
