guitarsam326 Posted February 11, 2017 Posted February 11, 2017 I usually finish one model before starting another, but here lately its been easier to give up on one for a bit. I started this trailer in hopes of finishing it for a show in 2 weeks.....yeah right lol. Anyways, it will be going behind the paystar, and the first pic is just a built up i have for use as a mock up, I'm starting with a fresh kit.
Superpeterbilt Posted February 11, 2017 Posted February 11, 2017 Thats exactly what that truck needs. Cool project.
DRIPTROIT 71 Posted February 11, 2017 Posted February 11, 2017 Cool project! What show in two weeks??
gatorincebu Posted February 12, 2017 Posted February 12, 2017 Brian , The truck looks great. And the gravel trailer is a good choice for a trailer . With the wet kit installed it could also pull a lowboy . Be Well Gator
guitarsam326 Posted February 14, 2017 Author Posted February 14, 2017 Its hard to tell from the pics (mainly because I'm no photographer) but shes got a fresh coat of primer and just came out of the dehydrator, so tomorrow I'll throw on some color.
gatorincebu Posted February 14, 2017 Posted February 14, 2017 Looking good thus far ! Going to make a good looking rig ! Be Well Gator

Brian, the glad hand are some i got from Jamie a while back. The electrical connector, i dont remember....maybe plaskit but i had to modify it due to air pockets on the flange
Tesla Posted February 14, 2017 Posted February 14, 2017 Nice work Sam and the added details look great!
signguy2108 Posted February 14, 2017 Posted February 14, 2017 Good start, great pics. I'm starting a 2 axle frameless w/ aluminum wheels. I'll follow this one closely
Mopar - D Posted February 14, 2017 Posted February 14, 2017 Sam nice work on your dump trailer I like your details.
Superpeterbilt Posted February 15, 2017 Posted February 15, 2017 That chassis is very crisp and clean Sam. I can tell how much work you have done, because I know all too well how heavy the mold seams are, and how tapered the rails and crossmembers are. The gladhands look great.
guitarsam326 Posted February 15, 2017 Author Posted February 15, 2017 Thanks guys!Terry, that dump bed is ridiculous as far as mold seams and fit. I'll never understand why they didnt make it a one piece deal....
tbill Posted February 16, 2017 Posted February 16, 2017 looking good, this is going to look terrific with the paystar.
