misterNNL Posted February 23, 2017 Posted February 23, 2017 Thanks, that's some pretty neat reference material right there. Also thanks for the door panel link.
Alltime Posted May 29, 2018 Posted May 29, 2018 You did an amazing job on this Model! I was hoping to do a model of it some day but I could never capture the character of the car as you have done. You are very talented. I built the actual car and still own it. Would you be interested in selling the model?
High octane Posted May 29, 2018 Posted May 29, 2018 Likin' your project even though I'm not a fan of rust. In fact the other night I attended a cruise night and saw a rusty gasser sedan that caught my eye when it was leaving and I wished that I had seen it earlier, as I am a gasser fan.
10thumbs Posted June 4, 2018 Posted June 4, 2018 Great to finally see one of these Henry J's finally completed. Wonderful motor choice too, love it! Really a great model. You know, we see occasionally a 41 Willys, even a '33 is a great one. I can't remember seeing such a cool Henry J, or even seeing one at all that was finished. Excellent that you open up a new way to go for Gasser fans. I kind of wonder if anyone else has a Henry J to show, maybe even one that was never finished. Like maybe a junk yard deal, or a rusty one too, maybe even one that was ready to be crushed, or that was wrecked. Cool theme for sure. Rusty steel, then showing a crushed result, then the resurrection. Wonderful model!
iBorg Posted June 5, 2018 Posted June 5, 2018 This is a hard kit to finish. I'm sure the majority of these kits that were started are either in the box or busted against the wall. Without a doubt one of the best builds of this kit.
Straightliner59 Posted June 5, 2018 Posted June 5, 2018 Very cool! I love the "little" things you have, going on, here: interior door panels, paint finishes, use of color, detail work...excellent model!
