NYLIBUD Posted February 19, 2017 Posted February 19, 2017 HO scale Circa Queens NY during the 70s.My old neighborhood.I built these dioramas a few years ago.
Canso65 Posted February 20, 2017 Posted February 20, 2017 Nice job Ron.You've done some really nice detailing and weathering.
NYLIBUD Posted February 20, 2017 Author Posted February 20, 2017 Thanks guys.It was the different lighting too..Actually they are just taken on my dresser.
XJ6 Posted March 1, 2017 Posted March 1, 2017 Wow I am lost for words that is incredible, super work you have done
NYLIBUD Posted March 8, 2017 Author Posted March 8, 2017 Once again, thank you guys,I appreciate the comments. And Dave,it's funny that u said I would be a good model railroader.I actually don't have any trains.I really just enjoy building, and weathering HO scale scenes.Dont get me wrong,I like model RXRing,It's just that I don't have the room for a layout...I thought the pick with the Jeep Cherokee was pretty cool...The real Cherokee is mine, and J/L made pretty much the same exact truck as mine.So I figured it would be cool to put it in one of the scenes. Thanks
NYLIBUD Posted March 9, 2017 Author Posted March 9, 2017 Doing a little time traveling back into the past.?
misterNNL Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 Looks like it was a tough neighborhood considering the junk cars, graffitti and police on-scene:)
FordRodnKustom Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 Very cool and somewhat nostalgic for me...I spent much of my childhood in Maspeth (late 50's-early 60's). Nice job on the dio!
FredRPG Posted May 31, 2017 Posted May 31, 2017 Funny I always thought ho cars looked way too small to my eyes, the 1/64 cars blend in very well. Well done scenes, you've made me rethink ho scale.
Tom Geiger Posted June 1, 2017 Posted June 1, 2017 I enjoyed your scenes! They tell a story. The cops should just let that guy jump. Not too far a fall, probably just break an ankle when he hit the awning!
