Bugatti Fan Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 We all get like this at times when the enthusiasm wanes. How I got over this was to model something different and completely out of my comfort zone, a sailing ship.Try something different, a figure, aircraft, ship, science fiction or whatever needing to learn a completely different skill set in the process.Sometimes what we do becomes all too familiar, so sometimes a change could be as good as a rest.
cobraman Posted October 3, 2017 Author Posted October 3, 2017 I did get sucked back in to some degree. I am working on a Cobra for my collection and built an MGB as a replica of my best friends car. My wife also brought me a motorcycle kit last weekend. She wants to keep me off the streets !
crazyjim Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 It's a good idea to keep a modeler off the streets, Ray. Keep on buildin'
cobraman Posted October 4, 2017 Author Posted October 4, 2017 Hey Jim. I may keep building but not as much as I used to. Being retired I have to have some things to do and building is as good as anything else I can do at home for a fairly low cost.
crazyjim Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 Gotta keep your mind and hands occupied, Ray. Otherwise you go goofy.
