Greg Wann Posted April 22, 2017 Posted April 22, 2017 The top edge of the front fenders need some sanding to be correct. I don't know why they are so sharply creased. This was the first and most obvious error having been done in a model kit.
CometMan Posted April 25, 2017 Posted April 25, 2017 Very nice Jeremy! It's always nice to see one of the higher-end makes done instead of the usual suspects!
mustang1989 Posted June 2, 2017 Posted June 2, 2017 Hi Jeremy, any progress on this build? MGRight?? Lookin' forward to more Jeremy.
KWT Posted June 3, 2017 Author Posted June 3, 2017 Actually yes... I dropped it in the purple pond. It got about 99% of what ever that was off. Then I sanded it down and took out the mold lines. From there I resprayed it with Tamiya primer then covered that with the Model Master Dark Cherry and this is where I'm at. Unfortunately, as you can see, all the panel lines really show up light now. Worse in the picture than to the naked eye. But, I did smooth out that roof line... now I gotta figure out off to fix those panel lines. They didn't show up at all when I finished painting... they started showing as the week went on.
Dodge Driver Posted June 3, 2017 Posted June 3, 2017 (edited) This thing is going to fight you the whole way, it seems! Still pulling for you Jeremy! There are several threads and tutorials on darkening panel lines here on the forum. I found some good info using the Google site search method.
