CAL Posted May 11, 2017 Posted May 11, 2017 Yeah that is a converted slot car kit so you will find a few weird things about itthe 956 was a model always.
Dr. Trevorkian Posted May 11, 2017 Posted May 11, 2017 Yes it uses the Tamtech RC car body on a curbside chassis. For this reason the radiator intakes in the door are very shallow. I love this car. Looking forward to your build.

Looking forward to your build.Oh, it makes sense to me now! I always wondered why those radiators inlets were like that - the Hasegawa 962 inlets are much better.
Dr. Trevorkian Posted May 12, 2017 Posted May 12, 2017 Yes that's about the only thing better about the Hasegawa kit in my opinion.

ZTony8 Posted July 3, 2017 Posted July 3, 2017 What's always been a head scratcher for me is the inclusion of the rear brake cooler hoses on the 962 with the sealed rear body and the omission of them from the "full detail" 956 kit.

Very odd
