Gregg Posted June 8, 2008 Posted June 8, 2008 Heh guys, and gals, I would like to request your help on this. If you have a web site, home page, or other presence on the web, could you please post a link to http://www.modelcarsmag.com The more links pointing to MCM, the better and higher up I will show on search engines. I am also hitting some major overtime with revamping the web site (not the forum, hint, hint, hint) Going to be putting more content, features, and links. Big year coming up. Thanks everyone! email or call me if any questions. Yes, you can call the editor of THE magazine any time, day or night, but please take into consideration the time zone difference. If I don't answer, or return the call, don't worry, I'm not ignoring you, probably asleep.....
abedooley Posted June 8, 2008 Posted June 8, 2008 I would love to put it on my page, as long as you dont mind it being MYSPACE. Just let me know how. I LOVE THIS SITE!!!! And would be more than willing to help out in any way, any time!! ABE DOOLEY
george 53 Posted June 8, 2008 Posted June 8, 2008 Gregg, the forum is already at the top of "My Favorites".Does this count?Do you need to be on my "Contacts" column? If so just let me know an your there.
sdrodder Posted June 8, 2008 Posted June 8, 2008 hey gregg you basicly want us to pormote the site right so how about i email so cal car culture and tell them about our site and that they put us in their model car resources? what do you think should i do that.
lordairgtar Posted June 8, 2008 Posted June 8, 2008 I don't think the SA site would allow me to do that But I will put it elsewhere.
Gregg Posted June 8, 2008 Author Posted June 8, 2008 Dave's got me on there already. It works best from individual sites, not from sub sites or threads. The search spiders look at the first page of a site, then they go through the site index, looking for content, keywords, links, etc. It's a whole other world out there now.
ismaelg Posted June 8, 2008 Posted June 8, 2008 (edited) Gregg, I'm heading out the door now for over a week, but when I get back I'll put the link in ScaleCorvettes.com, PuertoRicoNet.com and any other I can. Regards, Edited June 9, 2008 by ismaelg
Gregg Posted June 9, 2008 Author Posted June 9, 2008 The search engines look more towards dedicated domains, such as yourname.com, rather than at larger public/open/free sites. It's a learning process, and all the help helps, (does that sound right?)
Joe Handley Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 I don't think the SA site would allow me to do that But I will put it elsewhere. Oh you're a funny one:lol:
