jjsipes Posted June 12, 2017 Posted June 12, 2017 Need some ideas for interior colors. This was the inspiration for colors but. I've always liked the darker color on bottom for some reason. Body started with Duplicolor Deep Jewel Green pearl and Tamiya PS-60 Pearl Green. Need to clear coat yet. Not sure what color to do interior in. Was originally thinking dark green but now thinking about a light tan. Ideas or suggestions?

LOBBS Posted June 12, 2017 Posted June 12, 2017 I'd think a light tan or saddle brown would be in order for that color combo if you were going to lean away from the green.
espo Posted June 13, 2017 Posted June 13, 2017 I tend to agree on the darker tan interior idea, but with the colors your using you might try an aged dark green colored interior. I'm thinking something like an aged maybe even cracked old leather look. Try it on a spoon and see if it even looks right to you.
jjsipes Posted June 16, 2017 Author Posted June 16, 2017 Just decided to go with Testors Desert Sand for the interior. Here's a quick mock up.
bobthehobbyguy Posted June 17, 2017 Posted June 17, 2017 Looks great. Love the color choices. The tan looks great.
Tom Geiger Posted June 17, 2017 Posted June 17, 2017 I think you were right that the darker color at the bottom balances the car. I like what you've done.I'll also vote for the tan interior. I will say I'm not a fan of the two tone line across the grill shell.
