High octane
If you're lookin' for B-5 Blue, I got mine in a spray can from MCW Automotive Finishes.
Snake45
If you're lookin' for B-5 Blue, I got mine in a spray can from MCW Automotive Finishes. That particular shade of B-5 (there were several variations) looks very much like Model Master Nassau Blue.
gtx6970
PS, B5 wasn't a color avail in 1968 . Thats a 1969 and 1970 color - coded EB5 , 1971 it became GB5 and is just a touch darker than previous years For 1968 Roadrunner the Blues were . EE1 , QQ1 and UU1. QQ1 is the closest to B5 but Q1 has a tad brighter brilliance to it. To answer the OP, the best bet is with the smaller companies making paints specifically for model car use. Scale Finishes is enamel. MCW is a lacquer Edited June 14, 2017 by gtx6970
Snake45
Judging from the chart and pics of the model above, I'd say Model Master Nassau Blue would be a pretty good match for UU-1.
