mangodart Posted June 19, 2017 Posted June 19, 2017 Very cool !!! Resin body or you did it yourself ?
Tom Geiger Posted June 19, 2017 Posted June 19, 2017 Very nice! Slant six and all! Got to love the bread and butter cars. More people have a connection to these than the fancy and fast models!
lizardlust Posted June 19, 2017 Posted June 19, 2017 BEAUTIFUL craftsmanship!! Did you base this conversion on the Lindberg kit??
peekay Posted June 20, 2017 Posted June 20, 2017 Excellent! Wish there were more 4-door 6-banger kits.
Classicgas Posted June 20, 2017 Posted June 20, 2017 Excellent! After my own heart! That a resin body?
American 185 Heavy Posted June 20, 2017 Posted June 20, 2017 Wow a beautiful model and fantastic build !! Nice to see someone else appreciate real cars and build replicas of something other than NASCAR models or cars lifted 20 feet throwing flames !! The daily driver of the working family has always been my favorite and what I pay attention to the most. Awesome color and detail !!
Sportabout Posted June 20, 2017 Author Posted June 20, 2017 (edited) Thanks guys.Savoy has styrene body (Lindberg Belvedere 2DHT '64) and resin roof from Flitstone Belvedere 2D resin body.Flintstone resin Belevedere 2D sedan is made from Lindberg '64 2DHT with Lindberg Dodge 330 '64 2D sedan roof and trunk. Trunk and rear window is wrong for Belvedere and I wanted at least trunk to be right. Belvedere '64 2DHT and sedan has different rear window and 330 rear window was better choise.Work in progres link is in the first post. Edited June 20, 2017 by Sportabout
