PatW Posted July 6, 2017 Posted July 6, 2017 This was bought through ebay UK in a Fujimi Pacific Racing kit, But with no decals as per the box art.that was already started, in that most of the parts were off the sprues, but none of it was built. I bought Colorado decal sheet for the ART Racing Team. The main bonnet decal was a different shape, so I scanned and printed a second set and cut the decals to fit.
maltsr Posted July 6, 2017 Posted July 6, 2017 Nice work Pat. I've used those decals, they are first class.
Silver Foxx Posted July 6, 2017 Posted July 6, 2017 This is a nice looking build , nice decal work , I like the livery .
PatW Posted July 7, 2017 Author Posted July 7, 2017 Thanks guys. Yes the Colorado sets of decals are top quality.

PatW Posted July 10, 2017 Author Posted July 10, 2017 Cheers Dann, yes a kit I'd had for a year, just waiting for the ART Team decals by Colorado to come in and then modify to fit.
aurfalien Posted July 11, 2017 Posted July 11, 2017 Hi,It's I who should be thanking you for posting what I find are inspiring builds. So thank you.
PatW Posted July 11, 2017 Author Posted July 11, 2017 (edited) Thanks again Brian, It's just that I been doing this now for 60+ years and really, really enjoying it. Always trying something different, building in plastic, resin, white metal, printing decals, scratchbuilding, I'm now trying casting, initially with plaster and have bought the chemicals to try resin casting, when I can get my head around the measuring of the different components! But in the meantime still building. I finished an MPC Hombre Pickup yesterday, but as I bought it as an 'already started' I found four sets of airforce and military decals in the box, so built it military!I started a Revell Steve Kinser Sprint Car kit today, we don't see them at all here in the UK, so something different again, happy modelling!
