Thanks for the trip down memory lane.  I had a '74 short bed.  It was involved in an accident in '77 and I bought a California StepSide kit for it with Jackman spoke wheels.  Later traded it for a '78 King Cab.  Really enjoyed both of them.

They were nice trucks. The chassis in the garage was my last one in 2009. I found a stepside bed (really hard to find now) and it needed work. Around that time,I had three of them. 2 73's and a 78 longbed. Neighbors probably though I was nuts. Maybe they were right. LOL

 Ended up selling all of them a few years later.

I bought a new one in 77. Regular cab short bed. Had to add a bunch of junk to it of coarse.
