moparfarmer Posted September 6, 2017 Posted September 6, 2017 What is the scoop on the MCW Resin 1965 Dodge Coronet 2 dr sedan(Stock version) I've never bought resin and really don't know what to look for..I've got a few Polar Light 65 Dodges to use for grill/bumpers/tail lights etc) and quite a few Lindberg 64 Dodge Stock 330 for interior/chassis and components/engine..What is the piece like and if anyone has built one can you show a picture or pictures...Thanks..
espo Posted September 7, 2017 Posted September 7, 2017 My limited experience with MCW has been very positive. The body I used looked dean on and very little clean up needed. I wouldn't hesitate to order another if they have a subject I wanted to build.

Thank you, now all I have to do is send in the paperwork and how the exchange isn't too high..Living in Canada has its exchange problems and postal problems..
drodg Posted September 7, 2017 Posted September 7, 2017 My experience with MCW with paints and his resin has been very positive. That was when Dave Dodge had both but he sold off the paint business and he has kept the resin business if I remember correct. I might be incorrect.
drodg Posted September 7, 2017 Posted September 7, 2017 (edited) If you look on his sight he has a gallery of built versions of his cars. There are a few pictures of the Coronet on there. Edited September 7, 2017 by drodg

moparfarmer Posted September 23, 2017 Author Posted September 23, 2017 Thanks to MCW Resin for the quick delivery of my 1965 Dodge 2 dr post..Ordered it September 2,2017 and received it September 20,2017..Very quick delivery and well packaged..Thanks to USPS for the safe delivery even though the package was labeled Fragile..
dimaxion Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 I bought one also . Excellent , top quality . Thanx Dave , you've never let me down . One of the best IMHO .. Thanx ..
impcon Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 I could really get excited about a 2 door '65 Mopar if it was a Fury, Sport Fury or Polara or Monaco. Those C body cars are largely forgotten unfortunately and the Coronet really doesn't move me much at all. I wonder how many other guys could go for a Polara, Monaco or Fury kit? They sure fetch big dollars on Ebay.. that usually translates into supply falling far short of demand.. one would think that some resin caster would catch on to that and offer some C body stuff. Just sayin'.
High octane Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 I have an AWB '65 Coronet from MCW, a stock '65 Belvedere and an AWB Belvedere I believe and they look good. I've started the Coronet awhile ago and now if only I would finish it??? I'm happy with MCW resin and always liked visiting the MCW tables at the Toledo shows in the past.
dimaxion Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 Yes on the MoPars . My Question is : Where is the '66 Sattelite ? Meanwhile back at my stash , I am working to convert my '66 Cornet Sedan into the top of the line HT 500 .. Thanx ..
Bob Ellis Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 I just bought some 63-68 BIscaynes from him. Vey nice.
