After nearly a year and a half on the workbench (!), I'm happy to see this one 'under glass.' Only my second completed model after being away from the hobby for nearly two decades and far and away the most ambitious. Patience truly does come with age. :)  The front, rear, undercarriage, interior, and engine of the 918 were shoehorned to fit the 914 body. Color is Tamiya's Light Green (TS-22) (a nod to Porsche's Acid Green), with clear coat, polish, and wax. Scale Motorsports carbon fiber decals (twill and clear) were extensively utilized. Rims and tires were iForged-Equip-V3s from www.eightyone81.com. Engine is weathered via Tamiya weathering kits, Tamiya smoke, and Tamiya panel line accent. Engine bay cowlings and cross member came from ye olde parts box. Its got some fleas and there are a few things I'd do differently if I did it over again, but overall I'm very happy to see what I envisioned become reality. Amazing photos that make it look way better than it should are courtesy of my wife Amanda (www.morningdewphotography.com). Enjoy!
