Here's the Aoshima Mitsubishi Evo X, I've been working on for about a month.

This is my first airbrush paint job and I wish I'd taken the plunge, sooner. It was a lot easier than I thought it would be.

Box stock, except for the seatbelt clasps and roof decal. I know most of you prefer American iron, but it was a good kit to build my airbrush skills. Anyway, I hope you like it all the same.

All comments welcome. Thanks for looking.

Super clean and very smooth paintwork!

On pictures even perfect metallic paintworks like yours mostly get a coarse "out-of-scale" appearance when spotlighted directly. Did you ever try an improvised "photographer's tent"? Years ago I made mine from some scrap tubes and an old white bedsheet. When illuminated from outside the difference is really amazing.

That's a great idea! I'll give it a go.

It's weird, isn't it...how some paint looks better to the eye than to a camera?

Under more diffused light, the paint doesn't look that coarse.

Thanks for the comments everyone. Like I said, these tuners aren't terribly popular on this forum, but they are very nice to build.

I'm changing tack and doing a 41 willys next. The KS Pittman car. It's nice to mix it up and not do the same type of thing too often.
