StockBoresMe Posted October 13, 2017 Posted October 13, 2017 This is a simple curbside kit I got as a bonus in a trade. As I was unboxing a package my 6 year old daughter was watching because what kid doesn't like seeing presents opened. Little Chloe has a convertible obsession. As soon as she saw the corvette she claimed it. She did quiet a bit of the work. Painting the purple interior. As well as some black inside after I did the main outline. To date this is my favorite build. She helped with the majority of the assembly as well. But the colors and decal choices were 100% here. Right down to the dinosaur on the front
shoopdog Posted October 13, 2017 Posted October 13, 2017 I would have to say she did a pretty darned good job, she should be proud.
1930fordpickup Posted October 13, 2017 Posted October 13, 2017 That did come out very nice. Colors do not look bad at all together.
iamsuperdan Posted October 13, 2017 Posted October 13, 2017 Isn't this a great feeling? My daughter is 10 now, and she's the only one in the house who is into this goofy hobby I have. I've had her building kits over the past year, giving her 100% control over what they look like. ANd much like your daughter, she's coming up with out of the box thinking and some crazy ideas that actually translate really well. Her last build I posted here, and it was a 56 Chev, black with neon paint splatter. She did everything except the BMF, which I did because quite frankly I need the practice. I have her working on that Revell Jeep Wrangler Rubicion right now. The paint on that one is really going to stand out, if her sketches are any indication!
Jim N Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 Very cool! Your daughter has a good eye with color.
Silver Foxx Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 Nice work on this , doing some modelling and quality time with your child , nothing better than that .
RAMBENNA Posted October 21, 2017 Posted October 21, 2017 she did awesome, so glad to see the younger builders interested.
