#1 model citizen Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 This fruit looks great. Do you have to have a friend in France to get these? I'm French friendless
Lunajammer Posted October 28, 2017 Posted October 28, 2017 (edited) Wheels are painted and installed. Engine is basically detailed and installed. This one will be wired but that can't be done until firewall is installed. It was pointed out to me when I built the '23 Bell Telephone Hack, the tires have directional tread. Maybe want to give them a check. Sure like what I'm seeing so far. The rims look great, I know they can be tedious to detail. Edited October 28, 2017 by Lunajammer
retriever Posted October 28, 2017 Author Posted October 28, 2017 From what I can see, the tires don't appear to be directional. By the way, I made an error in the title of this post. It's actually a 1925 Model T, so the tires may be different.Tony

I'm French friendless Unfortunately, my friend in France has declined to help. He did it for me as a special favour. You can, however get them through Ebay.fr ......if you can figure out the French! http://www.ebay.fr/itm/kit-resine-resin-1-24-no-kfs-italeri-revell-Tamiya-conversion-transkit-/272876237965?hash=item3f88b0f48d:g:oegAAOSwK6RZLSJv At least it's worth a try...... Tony
Eric Macleod Posted November 6, 2017 Posted November 6, 2017 This model is very impressive. I have one of these on my shelf that I will add when I get my other Fords done. I will use yours for inspiration. I really like the red wheels on this one. Well done. I am looking forward to the next updates.

Thank you. I just checked & it appears I'm too late. The sale is over. I will check back to see if these come up again.
1500gp Posted November 10, 2017 Posted November 10, 2017 Yes, follow it because the seller said to me that he'll put other fruits ...
retriever Posted November 27, 2017 Author Posted November 27, 2017 The "fruit" arrived and I set to painting them....... only to find out they are vegetables! (But of 21 boxes there is one box of apples.) Anyway, trying to determine what each box contained wasn't easy in white resin, so I guessed and gave some boxes an indefinite color. Some, such as carrots were easily recognized. Anyway, here are the vegetables painted..... I then made a new wooden frame for the back of the truck, and installed some of the boxes. I'm quite pleased with the way it turned out... even though it's not a "fruit wagon" any more! Tony
1500gp Posted November 27, 2017 Posted November 27, 2017 Nice result, Tony ... I like it very much ...
Jim B Posted November 27, 2017 Posted November 27, 2017 Nicely done. I had a heck of a time with the C-cab on this kit.
Eric Macleod Posted November 27, 2017 Posted November 27, 2017 Wow! Home run with this one. I wish my Fords looked as nice as your magnificent model. My hat is off to you, especially with the fruit and veggie display of your "produce" wagon!
Rocking Rodney Rat Posted November 27, 2017 Posted November 27, 2017 All this talk about fruit is making me hungry.... -RRR
DonW Posted November 28, 2017 Posted November 28, 2017 I love this though it's a shame the fruit turned into veg - 'Vegetable Wagon' wouldn't have the same ring to it!
retriever Posted November 28, 2017 Author Posted November 28, 2017 Thanks for the nice comments guys. Eric...... I've been watching some of your Model T builds. They are great inspiration for me. Your comment is particularly appreciated. Tony
Bobchayer Posted November 28, 2017 Posted November 28, 2017 Tony, I noticed the inside of the cab is either grained or wood veneer applied. Adds to the build.
