Built from the SS396 kit but modified as a regular El Camino, a replica of my first high school car. Tonneau cover is scratch built.  Still working on bare metal foil technique for trim.  It’s not that great but gets a little better each time.

Thanks much!  I found one just like it in that color in 1980.  My first car.  I had to shoot it in gloss black in between metallic green to get that color.

Very nice looking. There is something special in building a vehicle that you have owned. I built a model of my '67 El Camino 396 & 4-speed that I bought new and put over 100K on it. Brought back a lot of good memories. I hope you had the same experience.
