I have been slowly working on my second '68 Dart. I have had the body painted for some time and just couldn't get in the mood to work on it. I have some free time with the Holiday break, so figured I would start getting the rest of the parts painted. Not sure how others go about it but, I like to paint everything (except the body) at about the same time. Have all the parts ready for primer and paint. Going to spend the rest of the day wearing a respirator and surgical gloves.

That's a VERY pretty shade of green for that Michael! B)

Everyone has their preferences, but for me I'm VERY paranoid about things not fitting right at the end, so painting the body is one of the last things I'll do before final assembly. I've had some nasty experience years ago with some very fiddly kits, one of them I ended up putting a severe gouge in the body because the body went on so crazily. Now I "practice" everything as I go along so that when the time comes, there's no issues as I'll have down pat how everything will go together with the least amount of trouble.

Of course, I add to the difficulty with all of the changes I do..............I'm sure that upsets the build order somewhat! :D

The Revell '68/9 Dart kits always seem underrepresented, so it's good to see someone working on one. Love that color, too. :)
