I follow your builds Tim and am envious of your skills (Randy's as well) - most impressive. My intention was to leave the cleaner exposed through the hood. However once I created the opening, this left an awkward profile with just the remaining portion of the center bulge ahead of the air cleaner. The hood scoop allowed me to hide this awkward line. Back in the day my Dad owned a four-door '61 and later a '69. I have been hot roding Falcons in my head for decades. Nice to finally build one at least in scale.
