vamach1 Posted December 29, 2017 Posted December 29, 2017 Post some pictures so the forum members can offer some advice. It's possible to build that many out of box kits if you have a lot of time on your hands and build them methodically. Threre are folks on here that would like to complete a model every few months.
mikemodeler Posted December 29, 2017 Posted December 29, 2017 Not sure I have completed 42 models in my lifetime of building since the mid 70's! I, too, build for myself and have yet to post any on here, mostly out of not having a photo hosting site and decent camera to take pictures with. I love this community and going to shows to see other's builds and also the buying/selling/swapping that goes with it.
Anglia105E Posted December 29, 2017 Posted December 29, 2017 I have found that it takes me one month to build a 1:24 scale kit, and some builds have taken two months. The big red London bus has almost 400 parts and that one did run to two months. I consider myself a slow builder but I do try not to rush things, even when the enthusiasm takes hold! David
