426 pack Posted February 15, 2018 Posted February 15, 2018 It is an amt 60 Ford ranchero on a amt 66 nova pro street frame and a 302 from a revell mustang. I am unsure what intake to run so let me know what what you think is best. The low profile single 4 barrel or the high rises duall 4 barrel. Comments welcome. I haven’t finished a model since May/12/2017
NYLIBUD Posted February 16, 2018 Posted February 16, 2018 Interesting looking build. The Nova's chassis fits perfect.
Metaldrumm Posted February 16, 2018 Posted February 16, 2018 Looks good ,the chassis fits good, or you could drop in a bigger engine, just have to modify the mounts.
426 pack Posted February 16, 2018 Author Posted February 16, 2018 Thanks guys. I have thought about putting a bigger motor but I don’t have a lot of big block fords that I’m not using. I will take a look tough and see what I can find.
426 pack Posted February 17, 2018 Author Posted February 17, 2018 After looking through my engines that I have I couldn’t find anything that looked good that I’m not using for a different project. But I did find a cool looking intake setup from an amt 427 engine. Let me know what you think of it.
W-409 Posted February 19, 2018 Posted February 19, 2018 I think the Ford Small Block fits well on that car since those are good engines for racing. Personally I'd go with the Tunnel Ram intake, or then add a big Pro Charger or the regular Roots-blower for some boost. Anyway, I'll be watching how this comes together.
1930fordpickup Posted February 21, 2018 Posted February 21, 2018 Leave the small block in there. It will push it that down the road fine.
Geno Posted February 25, 2018 Posted February 25, 2018 Oh man, another Falcon, sweet!!!!!! I'll be watching this one.
