slusher
Really nice work so far Pat. Use Super Clean for stripping, Purple Power is much weaker now...
Bucky
I'll hafta try the Super Clean, myself. The Purple Power isn't working very well on my project.

440 Dakota
great project and progress, I remember those fondly I've had a dozen or so of them years ago in various trim levels everything from the basic s6 with paisley interior to the sportier R/T and Road Runner those 360s were pretty slow, Haven't seen a decent one in years, besides the fender rust the unibodies rotted out right at the firewall
landman
The new and "improved?" chassis. The axles stubs were broken so I used the axle from the Ilmor Chevy Indy engine i built recently and cut it at the flanges. perfect fit. There is only one tailight lens. I'll make one from these truck lenses. Fitting the six.
NYLIBUD
Coming along nicely.Pretty odd car to be re building, but that's what is so great. And I'm sure that kit sealed would be a lot of $$.
landman
While the paint dries on various things I cleaned up the 318 that was in it and it will end up in the engine collection. Edited March 31, 2018 by landman

A few tips that I learned while I was building the slant 6 Volare- I believe you are using the engine from the Lindberg '64 Plymouth kit? That is the absolutely best detailed slant 6 ever! The transmission will collide with the bottom of the interior bucket. I took material off both. It my case it was the bottom of the firewall. The installation of the radiator hose completed the engine bay.

Vietnam Vet67
We bought a new 1978 Plymouth Volare with the "Fun Runner" package which was all the Road Runner trimmings but with the "Super Six" 2bbl engine. Awesome car and great mileage with the lockup torque converter. Had the same interior shown on an earlier post.

That was seriously good mileage in the late 70’s
