Not sure who else has used these pens but boy do they work great. I highly recommed giving them a try. The ink doesnt lift the paint and flows right where is needs to go

Michael's carries them in the art supply section.  I use them after paint.

Has anyone had this problem: When using this pen to black out grilles, the ink beads up and pulls away from the edges of the slot you're trying to fill?

Great tip! Worth a shot! 

I use Vallejo flat black wash for my grilles and recessed areas. Works great and flows evenly. Then, just lightly wipe up the raised areas.
