Casey Posted March 28, 2018 Posted March 28, 2018 (edited) Originally a Lindberg (possibly even a Pryo kit first?) kit, now packaged under the MPC label, presumably to mesh with all the previous MPC large scale motorcycle reissues: Older, original Lindberg kit for comparison: Edited September 5, 2018 by Casey

OldTrucker Posted March 29, 2018 Posted March 29, 2018 The Honda Super hawk even in 1/16 would be one I will have to get! I loved those old Hondas, just ask my wife! In the late 70's our 2 car garage was full of them as well as the carport. I had maybe 35 in total at one time that I was repairing or were for parts! Had Hawks, Scramblers and Dreams!

unclescott58 Posted November 17, 2018 Posted November 17, 2018 Picked up this kit a couple of days ago. It looks like a pretty good kit. The few subassemblies I've done so far, are going together quite well. But, I'd like to know a little bit more about both the history this kit and the real full-size bike. The present kit comes with several decals to make variations of this bike. What decals go with what other decals to make a "correct" variations of this bike? On the box, they indicate that the real bike was built from 1961, through 1968. So are there minor differences from year-to-year that these decals represent? The box or instructions give no clues on this. And searching the internet has not been much help so far, either. Who out there knows something about these bikes? And what variations I can build using the contents of this kit?

samdiego Posted November 19, 2018 Posted November 19, 2018 (edited) If you're into that sort of thing, Hasegawa's new tool 1/12 Honda '74 400F SuperSport is one of the nicest kits I've ever experienced. Edited November 19, 2018 by samdiego
