Oldmopars Posted April 6, 2018 Posted April 6, 2018 I built this car a few years ago (about 10). I wanted to build a correct replica of the General Lee. The AMT offerings are known to be trash, so I started with a Revell ProModeler 69 Charger R/T. It's been storage for a while and I need to figure out how to put the rear window back in and find a right door handle. I added the tail pipes, but they are too big, going to use a smaller size.
Geno Posted April 6, 2018 Posted April 6, 2018 That looks great Scott. I have plans to do one in 1/24 diecast using a Testors/Lincoln Mint mode as the DM models are crazy high on the secondary market. I am getting ready to start on one converting it to a Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry Charger for my diecast collection. It should fit in great with my other DM Chargers.
RAMBENNA Posted April 7, 2018 Posted April 7, 2018 looks great, love the General and yours turned out nice
Oldmopars Posted April 7, 2018 Author Posted April 7, 2018 With new info and skill, I would like to think I could do a few things better, but this was about 10 years ago. I plan to do another for my Daughter, we will see how that one turns out.
Classicgas Posted April 7, 2018 Posted April 7, 2018 Nice. You might want to put down another set of decals, there is a bit of paint bleed. I may have a set. I'll look later.
