Have we lost the poll feature again ?

Like to do a poll but can't find the button

Everything worked fine for me and the button is in the same place that it has been.

Start New Topic

Click on Poll tab (Upper Left)

So after you click Start New Topic, you don't see tabs that say "Content" and "Poll" right above where you type in the new title?

Greg, what is your screen resolution? Are you by chance, using an old monitor and/or computer?

 

Normal procedure is to pick your forum and click the Start New Topic button. That will open a page that looks like this. 

Click the above circled Poll tab, and you should get a page that looks like this:

OK, just needed to make sure you weren't running into another problem we encountered. Older monitors, and narrow windows get styled for mobile, which doesn't necessarily have all the options the desktop version has. 

We probably need to do an online meeting some evening so I can see what you see. Please send me a PM.

Since it has not yet been mentioned, have you tried to clear your browser's cache (temporary files), and cookies?  That is usually the first thing to try when the browser is misbehaving. Also, do you maybe have another browser to try?

I've got the Poll button back but I'm having trouble making it work.

I get an error message saying  " Something went wrong . . . "

Hate to keep bothering you guys, but how about a step by step tutorial on doing a poll ?

Obviously I've done them before but it just isn't working for me now and is quite frustrating.

Let me see what I can do. I have to figure out how to use this feature first.
