BeakDoc Posted May 31, 2018 Posted May 31, 2018 A stately beast from an underrated, bygone era. Very nicely done!
Oldcarfan27 Posted May 31, 2018 Posted May 31, 2018 I love it! I want this as a kit. You really like those barges? Looks like the headlights open, true?

One of my FAVORITE cars from the "malaise era"! I gotta ask Grzegorz, which car did you use for a starting point? The Revell Gran Torino? They were built on similar platforms back in those days. You got the lines pretty much spot on as those two car's body panels are completely different! This along with the 1977-'79 T-Birds, I'd love to see as kits. But with the way things are going in the biz these days, that's a pipe dream. Like Grzegorz did, I'll have to someday simply scratchbuild my own. As far as the '70's being underrated? I think that's starting to change as each year goes by, I'm seeing more and more '70's cars show up at the 1:1 shows. AND there's been crowds of people around them! Not all of them are my age either (late 50's).......a lot of young people are interested as they've not seen the likes of them before. For example, I had to take a pic of this beauty! The show where this was taken is coming up again next weekend, and hopefully it'll turn up again as I want to take more pics of it. That, and I hope the weather is nice.........I hate a car show in the rain! Edited May 31, 2018 by MrObsessive Pics
Renegade Posted June 1, 2018 Posted June 1, 2018 Great build. Had one of these back in the day. Wish I still had it.
