I'm in that age group too. Great version. I've seen Depeche Mode in concert numerous times. Love hearing them do this.  Another group that covered the song is The Cramps.Between 1976 and 1979, I saw them at CBGB's over twenty times.

When I moved to L.A. in 1981, 66 had been almost completely bypassed except for one short stretch in Texas, so I can at least say I to spend a little time on the Mother Road. 

Of course after I got to L.A. I burned a lot of fuel on its western end - Santa Monica Boulevard - but that's another story.

1954 Chevy's are one of my favorite cars!

My first car was a 1954 Belair 4 door. It was decked out with powerglide trans, power steering,  power seat, power windows (front only) and an headlight auto dimmer!

My Dad has one of those Tube shaped Car Swamp Coolers in his garage. He's had it for 60 years. I wish I could get it from him. I remember using it in the 1970's, when I was a kids. I was my job to pull the string.
