Anyone else planning on watching this?

Just seen a commercial for this on the history channel and I thought I would share it with everyone. travis-pastrana is going to attempt a jump that Evil Knievel couldn’t.

I saw the commercial. Don't plan on watching it. It'll be 59 minutes of hype and commercials and one minute for the actual jump. I'll catch the highlights on the 'Net somewhere.

Are you kidding me.This should be good.I mean Travis can ride,like no one I've ever seen.I do a little free style motocross,or at least I did.Chipped collarbone.I wouldn't do half the things that he can do,and he makes it look so easy...Anyway,good luck.Hes gonna need it.

Evel DID make that jump. He just didn't stick the landing, is all.

This is true.What amazes me,is how his motorcycles had such a small amount of suspension travel back in his days.Actually really none at all,compared to today's bikes.Im sure his landings would have been much better with more suspension on them.

Yeah, and I was wrong. It won't be an hour of hype and commercials. I saw in the TV guide it's 3 full hours of hype and commercials and 1 minute for the actual event. Just unreal.
