Well, my mother died on Friday the 13th and I was involved in a traffic accident (that was not of my doing) on Friday the 13 th so I am a little apprehensive on this day. I was fine today until the lady at the grocery store mentioned it. Happy to get home in one piece.???

That sucks.Actually today is my mother's birthday.She passed away about 2,and a half years ago...RIP mom..We all miss ya.

Oh man,he looks like my black cat.But he died a couple of years ago.Actually short haired black cats are my favorite kind of cat.But they have to be short haired.

My fiancee helped her Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever whelp a litter of puppies Friday. The litter names all have to do with the word "lucky." So they are Charm, Penny, Striker (strike), Breaker (break), Star, Clover, Lindy and Duck. We are on bed side maternity watch around the clock this weekend to ensure everyone's happy and healthy until they get stronger.

I remember everyone talking about Friday the 13th being an unlucky day for as long as I can remember. Only one bad experience, minor auto accident, many years ago. But I still kind of lay low around the house and don't go out unless I must on the 13th. I didn't win the Mega Million Friday night so I guess the myth continues.

Congratulations on the new Grand Puppies. Not familiar with the Nova Scotia Tolling Retriever breed, what do they look like ?

In Spanish speaking countries, Tuesday the 13th is the bad luck day. Conversely, 13 is considered a luckk number in Latin American countries. Ever notice how many Latin American baseball players wear "13" as a`uniform number?

They're like small golden retrievers, 30-40 lbs. Busy, energetic, people pleasing, water dogs.

Yup, that's the one. Here's one of her pups on the cover of Gun Dog Magazine. She doesn't own it, but it's from one of her past litters.

This picture shows what I mean about dogs in general, and water dogs in particular. Just look at the determination on that dogs face, that's what I'm talking about.

Dogs are great.Its all fine tuned instinct to retrieve whatever's in that water,a duck,or another kind of fowl.Its in their blood.Yea the cover picture is pretty cool.I never did hear of that magazine.But then again,I don't own a dog,or go duck hunting on a regular basis....Go Get it boy,get it!!!!Ruff,splash.!
