Just did it with a resin '56 Caddy.

But I used Super Clean.

Of course t only had to soak for about a half hour to get off all of the enamel, so it really didn't have time to get damaged.

I've used Super Clean before on resin without any problems & I don't think Easy Off would be any different, especially when removing something as easy as enamel.

You don't need to leave Easy-Off on longer than 15-20 minutes. It'll do what it's gonna do in that time. Spray on, wait 15-20-30 minutes, attack it with a toothbrush under warm running water, repeat as necessary.

Some enamel jobs can require 3-4-5-6 treatments to come all off. Others will come off with just one or two cycles.

Thanks guys. I painted my 1/43 Alfa BAT car with enamel because the color was right but after 6 days it is still tacky. Never again.  I did a Studebaker yellow a couple years ago and it took about three weeks to dry believe it or not.

I believe it.

There are some advantages to using enamels.

They level better & will give you a pretty nice shine without a clear coat, but I used to paint my models & then put them away for a couple of months before resuming because the enamel takes forever to cure completely.

Now I use pretty much nothing but lacquers.

I use a food dehydrator, brand name:" NESCO American Harvest".  This one has a therrmostat on it.  I have run it at 100 degrees F. Of course, the shelving inside needs to be hollowed out, not difficult.
