Koellefornia Kid Posted September 19, 2018 Posted September 19, 2018 Hi guys, today I want to show you one of my Lowrider projects, built in 2013. I wanted to do something different than the usual Impalas from the ´60s (though I like them very much!), so I used AMT´s 1957 Bel Air Sport Coupe. The build features: wired engine, flocked interior, scratch built chain steering wheel, photo- etched club plaque, scratchbuilt fuzzy dices, lowered suspension, Pegasus wire wheels, cut out deck lid with scratch built hinges, scratch built trunk, Pegasus hydraulic pumps and batteries. Painted in Jade Green and Chrystal Silver. Called this one „The Jade Buddha“. Thanks for looking, comments welcome. Greetings from Germany
ChrisR Posted September 20, 2018 Posted September 20, 2018 Not a fan of low riders but a great build!
Monty Posted September 20, 2018 Posted September 20, 2018 Ausgezeichnet! I'm really intrigued by that Jade Green paint. Would you mind telling me who makes it?
Dragonhawk1066 Posted September 21, 2018 Posted September 21, 2018 That's a stunning color combo and a really nice paint job. Looks great.
Koellefornia Kid Posted September 21, 2018 Author Posted September 21, 2018 Thanks a lot. Paint is Testors Jade Green enamel paint, sprayed over VW Chrystal Silver (rattle can).
Rider Posted September 21, 2018 Posted September 21, 2018 Great stuff, nice pump and plumbing work. Great looking build.
