Snake45 Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 This song reminded me of another one almost instantly. Did some googling and found out I'm not alone in hearing it--I didn't even get the names of both songs into google before it prompted me with exactly what I was looking for. Do you hear it, too? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sq93t3J4R5c

iamsuperdan Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 Country music. *barfs* Definitely picking up a little Sympathy vibe though.
SSNJim Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 All it needs is a whoooo whoooo or two. Of course, when my radio starts playing country, I take it in to be fixed.
Snake45 Posted September 24, 2018 Author Posted September 24, 2018 BTW, I posted this same thing on another board ( a gun forum) and have gotten 8 or 10 replies, but not one person has gotten it yet, and they don't seem to be even listening to it! Several have said they listened to 10 or 15 seconds and quit because it was "too country" or "not country enough" for them.

Oh, I don't think the song itself is anywhere near close enough for a suit, it's just got a strong SFTD backing rhythm going on. It's not like the "I Won't Back Down"/"Stay with Me" case of a couple years ago. There's another country song out now that's pretty much an homage to John Campy Cougarmelon's "Jack and Diane." No plagiarism case there, either, just a tribute.
